Metro-North Parkchester is a train station located in the Parkchester neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. It is part of the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line and serves commuters traveling between the Bronx, Westchester County, and New Haven, Connecticut.
The station has two platforms and four tracks, allowing for both express and local trains to stop. It is located adjacent to the Parkchester apartment complex and within walking distance to many restaurants and stores.
Metro-North Parkchester offers commuter parking, a ticket office, and vending machines for ticket purchases. It is also wheelchair accessible with elevators and ramps.
The station was originally opened in 1928 by the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad and was renovated and modernized in the 1990s. It serves approximately 3,600 passengers on a typical weekday.
